3D Printing Lab
Additive Manufacturing & Rapid Prototyping
The 3D Printing Lab at MPIT CoE bridges the gap between digital design and physical manufacturing. Equipped with professional-grade SLS, SLA, Metal, and CFR printers, students learn CAD modeling, slicing software, material science, and rapid prototyping — skills in high demand across aerospace, automotive, and healthcare industries.

Message from the Head – 3D Printing Lab
“Welcome to the 3D Printing Lab at the Centre of Excellence, Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology (MPIT), Gorakhpur. Our mission is to foster innovation through advanced additive manufacturing technologies by empowering learners, researchers, startups, and industries with practical skills and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The lab is equipped with professional CAD/CAM workstations featuring SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360, FDM, SLA, SLS, and DLP 3D printing technologies, high-precision 3D scanning and reverse engineering systems, post-processing facilities, and rapid prototyping capabilities. Beyond technical excellence, the lab serves as a hub for skill development, product design, 3D Printing as a Service (3DPaaS), research, intellectual property creation, startup incubation, and technology commercialization. Through collaborative innovation and experiential learning, we aspire to transform ideas into impactful products and contribute to an innovation-driven and self-reliant India.”
